Transgender woman viciously attacked at a mcdonalds
Crissy Lee Polis, a transgender was viciously attacked at a McDonalds in Maryland on April 18th for trying to use the bathroom. A 14 year old and an 18 year old brutally beat her just because she is a transgender woman. A McDonalds employee recorded it on video and laughed as Crissy was suffering brutal assault while other employees just stood there and watched. An elderly costumer intervened and tried to stop the girls from beating her, but ended up getting punched in the face. Luckily, an employee stepped in to break up the fight, the employee who filmed the attack got fired, and the girls were charged with assault.

No one deserves this kind of treatment. Remember in kindergarden, we were taught to respect one another no matter what? Why do people do such a thing? It breaks my heart seeing the video. I fully support the LGBT community and I am so glad that more than 100,000 people called on McDonald's to respond to the transgender assault.
I'm not one to support the choice of becoming transgender. But no matter what, humans are humans. Just because people make choices like that doesn't make them less than human. As for the people who beat the transgender woman, I hold them in high disregard. If you want to oppose being transgender, oppose the actions, not the people themselves. The people are still human!
