2012 so far..

Wow, 2012 has been crazy! From schoolwork, homework, and after school activities to friendships, relationships, and stuff in between.

Sorry I haven't been posting in a while, I have been so busy but all in all, 2012 has been decent so far. Sure, there are a few obstacles but that's life and I have been able to move on from all of it. I have been getting really good grades and so far in this term, I only missed one homework assignment, which is a record since I used to never pass in homework. Although school can be a trouble, I have been managing to get through and I have no interest in stopping my studies. I have also been in drama, so I've been staying after school a lot more (well, except for last week because I had a really bad cold). I also have yet to order my class ring, which is exciting because in my old school, students would have to wait until junior year in order to get class rings but in my school, sophomores get to order class rings! I do wish they were less expensive but here is the basis on what I want:

Although it is about $140... but my mom is going to let me get it, which is good... I just need to find out my ring size. Good thing the people from the ring company are coming to my school on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Personally, I chose this because 1. it is very pretty and 2. I don't want a chunky, bulky ring that would most likely spend a long, long  time in a drawer somewhere. 

Oh, and I painted a door in shop... so here it is.

On a non school related note, my current relationship keeps getting better and better, which has been making me the happiest girl alive. I know I tend to not post such mushy gushy stuff but I feel as if I am dreaming and I still can't believe this is happening.  And, in honor of Valentines day coming up, here is a picture of how cute we are :3

  haha we look sorta emo.. or scene.. whatever :p Oh, and speaking of Valentines day, as much as I believe how pointless the holiday is because it is no different than any other day with your significant other only with presents, hearts, and crap like that , I am actually very excited. It will be my second valentines day taken and I know for sure that it will be so much better than last year.

Other than that, I have been reconnecting with my old friends and continuing to blossom my relationship with my newer friends as well as making new ones as well. Instead of spending weekends alone, a lot of times, I am out with friends and I have been a lot more social because I spent years not knowing who my true friends are and now that I finally know who really has my back, I have been very happy.. although sometimes I worry about losing them.

As for family life, I have been sort of isolating myself in my room for some peace and quiet in my busy life so I haven't really been connecting a lot with my family. Sometimes, I prefer my solitude instead of the craziness of 5 other people in the household. I have had issues with my family in the past so there is still a bit of negativity towards them but all in all, things have been alright. Probably my closest family member is my mom because she and I are very similar and I tend to go to her when I need someone to talk to. I do love my family but like in every other household, my parents and my siblings do get on my nerves but no matter what, they are family.

Other than that, I don't have much to look forward other than the obvious (vacation, holidays, month-averseries with my boyfriend, etc.) so that's what's been up. I hope everyone is having a good start to the year and I will try to post more.
