Well, last Monday was my grandfather's funeral, which was tough because my family has been visiting their house for years and my grandma told us how proud he was of his grandkids. I couldn't help but cry as my grandmother tried to talk but barley could make out a sentence without sobbing. The interesting part of the funeral was that I met some cousins that I never knew about (my dad's half sister's children), so it was nice to meet them, since I do love meeting new people, regardless of the beliefs that I am antisocial, which started in 6th grade.
On another note, last week I took a quiz in biology and usually I fail those but, to my surprise, I got an 84, which was also the highest grade in the class. Grades have been going decent, I've been struggling in math (both geometry and algebra), but I have been excelling in creative writing, which is the only class I have an A+ in. I am doing decent in my other classes, but it is so hard to catch up on the work, especially when I barely got enough sleep the night before. The more and more days I have spent at AMSA, the more and more I want Assabet to accept me. I am tired of AMSA as a whole (the students, the teachers, the academics, etc.), so I really need a new start.
I have been tired and I would just love to lock myself in my room and nap for days, maybe weeks. I try to go to sleep, but I struggle with going to sleep and even staying asleep. I definitely regret all those nights where I chose to stay after, but honestly, I prefer the night time better than the day. During the summer, I actually would sneak out of the house at night and go on the swings... swinging is therapeutic for me and helps me a lot when I am stressed out. I even sometimes spent hours swinging back and forth looking at the stars while listening to my ipod, oh and texting too.
As for the shows I am watching, the only one that I have to watch every time it is on is American Idol. All of the contestants are so talented (Go James Durbin!) and the judges are definitely better (Steve Tyler is awesome), but the only thing that bugs me about them is when Randy comments about being pitchy and saying that the singers "can sing," well, obviously they CAN sing, they wouldn't be on the show if they couldn't and the whole pitchy stuff bugs me. I also have been watching Tosh.O and Whose Line Is It Anyway, which are also very, very funny shows. I hate MTV, especially those shitty shows like "Teen Mom" and "Jersey Shore."
I realize that I have been quickly switching topics, from reading my previous posts, you probably have already noticed that. I, in fact have ADD, so sometimes it is hard to focus on just one topic..... topic....topic... OH LOOK A BUNNY!
Well anyways, on to my next topic.. here are some songs that I have been listening to a lot lately..
Four Words (to choke upon) by Bullet for my valentine
Bullet For My Valentine is one of my all time favorite bands and I have been constantly replaying this song over and over again on my ipod on my way to and from school. I guess I listen to it a lot because the lyrics suit me and of course, I am a die hard metal and rock fan and I just love the screaming, the epic guitar riffs, the drums, etc.
The End by Bullet for my Valentine
This song has always been one of my favorites, and I have been listening to it a lot too, but not as much as 4 Words to Choke Upon. I love B4MV so freaking much!
Suffocating Under Words of Sorrow (What I Can Do) by Bullet For My Valentine
Yes, another B4MV song.. I can't help it though! I am in love with them! This song constantly gets stuck in my head, even when I haven't listened to it at all.
Still Searching by Senses Fail
Yep, it is a song that actually isn't B4MV. I can relate to this song really well and I love this genre of music. I am very new to the band, but I will definitely look them up more because I love what I hear so far.
........................................As you can tell, I LOVE metal and rock and as I said, I hate music with too much auto tune and songs that don't have much of a meaning. But, there are some exceptions to the rule I made about the music I like. Some of you may find it surprising that I actually like the music listed below.
Some find this music unbearable to listen to, and I completely understand, but I am a lover of almost every kind of music (I hate rap and country), I have a wide.. very wide variety haha
"Friday" by Rebecca Black sucks and I got to go, so PEACE OUT.

I hate country too!
ReplyDeleteWe all have those little theraputic things we do, don't we? Mine's drumming on things. And playing air-piano.
My little brothers repeat stuff over and over again.
It's pretty diverse over here.
Oh, and that picture of Amy Lee is wicked freaky!
