School has been going wonderful and I actually look forward to going there.. wow, it's like the first time I have ever liked school in my life. I hated my old school with a burning passion as you read in previous posts, but my new school is so different and I have been so much happier! I have met the strangest and most interesting people there and I couldn't be happier to call them my friends. I feel like I belong there and I rarely feel like I belong anywhere. I love the friends I have made there so much that they are like family to me and I look forward to seeing all of them everyday. I also like all my classes.. well, english is alright, but I am in college prep, which makes absolutely no sense because I was in the honors english class at an advanced school last year. So many people in that class can barley read and it drives me nuts but I don't wanna transfer out because it could mess up my whole schedule, plus I feel like a freaking genius. So far, I don't dislike any of the teachers (usually I would take a disliking to them when school starts) and I have been trying my absolute hardest to do my best in academics as well as shop week. I am in painting and design and it is a lot of fun. So far, I sanded, dusted, and painted the first coat on a wall, which was fun but a little tedious because I still haven't quite got the hand of all the painting techniques. On Wednesdays, I stay after for the anime club and it is so much fun! a lot of my friends are in that club and we all have good times together :) I also forgot my biology textbook in my locker and normally, my teacher would gave me a detention but he gave me a break, but that didn't stop him from taking away one of my shoes until the end of class... don't ask. I have still been getting lost a lot, but getting around the building isn't as confusing as it was before, which is always good.
On another note, Evanescence is releasing more and more music to the public and before I know it, I will have their newest album in my hands! I am a hardcore fan of Evanescence, I think that they are amazing and Amy Lee, the singer is my idol. I admire Amy Lee so much and she inspires me greatly. I will actually be seeing them live October 28th with my friend, Tim. We both are so excited and we can't wait until the concert, and the album of course.
I got the book, "Perfect" by Ellen Hopkins on the day it came in stores and let me tell you, Ellen Hopkins has written another moving, emotional, and brilliant book! I just love her books so much! I own hard copies of all the books she wrote so far and I am going to continue to collect books by her because her work is so amazing. My mom took me to barnes and noble to pick up the book and luckily, there was still more than one copy left. I highly recommend Ellen Hopkins' books if you are looking for a good and easy read with a wonderful story line.
Hmmm, I think that's it, other than my birthday is going to be in 8 days and today is 11 months for my boyfriend and I too! I am going to be sixteen this year and I am so excited! If I end up getting money, I am most likely getting a Hina Ichigo (Rozen Maiden) cosplay costume and wig because I would just love to cosplay as her someday! I will not spend all my money.. just a good chunk of it :p
